Fostering for Red Fern
Fostering is a really thoughtful volunteer opportunity, and we are always in need! We are a foster-based rescue, in which animals are housed temporarily in foster homes instead of in a physical shelter. In a foster home environment, the dogs have the opportunity to be socialized and taken care of until they are adopted, rather than staying in boarding, which can be a stressful place. The length of time a dog will be in foster varies depending on the dog. We provide all medical care, supplies, and support during the foster period!
